Classroom displays, examples of our work, school visits

Here at Streetsbrook School we have been lucky to have been donated a defibrillator by a family at the school . The Hawkes family have purchased the defibrillator for the two schools the children attend,  here and also at Sharmans Cross School. The cost of each  defibrillator is £1250 each including training for staff. What a magnanimous gesture £2500 in total.

The reason behind the donation is that Mrs Hawkes lost her husband suddenly a year ago from an undiagnosed heart condition, and would particularly like to raise the public awareness of such conditions where a defibrillator may save lives. Both schools are grateful to Mrs Hawkes and her three daughters who have hopefully given the gift of life in the future, the gift of life is priceless!

If only that had been the case for them then they may not now be without a husband and daddy. Now his memory will continue in these two schools, the schools and their community are indebted..
