What does sustainability mean?
At Streetsbrook we think of sustainability as ‘Enough for all, for always’

How does Eco-Schools operate at Streetsbrook?
Children are the driving force behind Eco-Schools. Our ‘Eco-Team’, made up of representatives from each class, meet regularly and annually carry out a review to assess the environmental performance of the school. They then decide which environmental topics they want to address and how they are going to do it. With support from staff, and other members of the wider school community the Eco-Team develop an Eco Action Plan for each academic year. In addition Eco-Schools and Sustainability form a significant part of the annual School Improvement Plan.  Measuring and monitoring is an integral part of the Eco-Schools programme, providing us with all the evidence we need to really shout about our environmental success.
